BOYS HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING WEEKEND RECAP

At the Class 1A Regional Wrestling competition held Saturday at Lawrenceville High School, the Olney Tigers were among 10 schools competing on the mats.

Congratulations to four RCHS wrestlers who had standout performances:

• Carson Bissey claimed the regional championship in his weight class with 3 wins, including 2 pins.
• Zander Schrader also won the regional championship in his weight class with 3 wins, including 2 pins.
• Logan McDonald finished in 3rd place in his weight class, recording 3 wins, including 2 pins.
• Hayden Hazel placed 3rd in his weight class with 2 wins, including 1 pin.

Best of luck to these four Olney Tiger wrestlers as they advance to the Class 1A Sectional at Carterville this Friday and Saturday!
