(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA is providing details on the previously announced $1 billion to be distributed to specialty crop and sugar growers not covered through the Ag Department’s farmer bridge program. Specialty crop producers have until 5:00 on March 13th to report the factual and accurate 2025 acreage to the USDA, however crop insurance linkage will not be required for the ASCF program.
