Newton finished up its regular season schedule with tough loss at Greenville, 2-0

the Eagles were outhit by the host Comets, 2 to 1

David Ferguson had Newton lone hit

Carson Barthelme was hit by a pitch twice and Nolen Cleaver was hit by a pitch

Quincy Fulton and Drake Wolf each drew a base on balls

the Eagles now prepare for Class 2A Regional action this Wednesday afternoon

Newton will play the Robinson/OPH winner in a 4:00 Semi-Final game at Evergreen Park
