(NEWTON) There is less than one week for parents/guardians to make appointments for the Jasper County School District Preschool and Kindergarten Screening dates coming up next month. With all screenings to be held at Ste. Marie Elementary School, the dates and times are from 8:30 to 4:00 on Friday, May 17th, and from 11:00 to 6:30 on Monday, May 20th. The screenings are required to attend a Jasper County school program, plus the Masonic Lodge will be on hand during the screenings for any parent/guardian interested in signing up for the free service of its Family Identification Program. With no walk-in appointments allowed, the registration deadline is next Wednesday, May 1st.
