(NEWTON, ILLINOIS) The funeral service for Leroy Ky Brooks, age 85, of Newton, Illinois will be held Friday morning, March 6, 2026, at 11:00, at the Central Christian Church in Newton, with burial in the Aten Cemetery, rural Hidalgo, Illinois, with full military rites conducted at the graveside. The visitation for the U.S. Army Reservist is Thursday evening, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00, at the Central Christian Church in Newton, with additional visitation from 10:00 until service time Friday morning, March 6, 2026, at the Central Christian Church in Newton.
