although the host Eagles outhit the visiting Tigers, 7 to 5
Brody Redman was the winning pitcher, striking out 8 in six and a third innings of work
Olney was led at the plate by Cooper Hires with a double, single, and a run scored
Gavin Root had an RBI hit and scored Olney’s other run
Owen Cycholl also had an RBI hit and Carter Blank had a hit
for Newton, Drake Wolf had the Eagles’ only RBI with a hit and a sacrifice fly
Jackson James had Newton’s only 2-hit game
Quincy Fulton had a hit, a walk, and scored the Eagles only run
other hits by David Ferguson, Dominic Baltzell, and Reed Tharp
the (12-2) Eagles are scheduled to host Dieterich today in Newton
the (6-8) Tigers are scheduled to host Flora tomorrow at Olney Central College
