Newton doubled up Carterville, 10-5 in a game played at Frontier College in Fairfield
the Eagles and Lions each had 10 hits in the game, along with no errors committed
Carson Barthelme was the winning pitcher, striking out 3 in his six innings of work
Eli Wolf threw the final scoreless inning with 1 strikeout
Quincy Fulton led Newton at the plate with a triple, single, a walk, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored
Gavin Meinhart had 2 hits and 1 RBI and Drake Wolf doubled with 2 RBI and a run scored
Chance Mulvey had 2 hits and 2 RBI, while Jack James had an RBI hit
Dominic Baltzell singled and walked with an RBI and a run scored
David Ferguson and Maddox Horner each an RBI sacrifice fly
the Eagles are scheduled to play at Tuscola today
