NEXT SCHEDULED OILFIELD SAFETY DAY

(CARMI) The Illinois Petroleum Resources Board (IPRB) and the Indiana Oil & Gas Association (INOGA) are teaming up to host the Illinois Basin Safety Awareness Day coming up on Thursday, February 26th, in Carmi. The event, which originated in 2022, will offer an extensive oilfield safety awareness-focused program, in addition to the regular oilfield worker appreciation day theme. Open to all oilfield professionals and workers, the event will feature a complimentary catered breakfast at 8:30 that morning and lunch at around 12:00 noon. It also includes a team safety trivia competition, live safety demonstrations and presentations, and more both in the morning and afternoon, plus area high school students will attend for possible career information.
