(OLNEY) The Olney City Council met last night in regular session. The Council : approved the payment of all bills as presented : accepted the $714,168 bid from Visu Sewer out of St. Louis for the City’s Sanitary Sewer Relining project : approved the below budget quote of $20,100 for Olney Water Plant turbimeters : agreed to apply for State DCEO grant monies to upgrade the City’s municipal parking lots on York and Market Streets : approved two raffle licenses as requested : approved a Permit to Sell in the City Park or Recreation Area as requested by for-profit Yoga Classes : heard and reviewed various reports : and held a short executive session to discuss real property and personnel : next Council meeting is July 8th.
