(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the stretch of warm weather is expected to last through the end of the work week, very windy conditions will also accompany the warmer-than-normal air for this time of the year. With the movement of a frontal boundary that will stall out over Illinois, we’ll have almost daily chances of showers and/or thunderstorms about every 12 hours or so now through the weekend. That’s when the front will eventually be flushed out of our downstate area with some cooler air moving in by Sunday night, continuing into the first of next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
