(OLNEY) The Richland County Board had its regular monthly meeting for February last night in Olney. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented – $89,963 in county claims and $294,077 in non-county claims : approved the $36,200 purchase of a battery backup system for the county’s Emergency Dispatch Center : approved the annual liquor licenses for Berryville Vineyards and for the Stringtown St. Joseph Parish : approved the $15,000 grant payment to the Noble-Wakefield Fire Protection District : approved a Mutual Aid Agreement with IEMA as presented : approved an IDOT resolution for maintenance : heard and reviewed the various county reports : and adjourned after a closed session to discuss real estate, negotiations, and personnel : the Richland County Board’s next regular monthly meeting will be March 12th, 2026.
