RICHLAND COUNTY BOARD HOSTING PUBLIC HEARING TONIGHT

(OLNEY) The Richland County Board will host a public hearing tonight at the Richland County Courthouse in Olney, starting at 6:00, with those attending to use the south entrance to the Courthouse. The hearing is to consider a proposed property tax levy increase for Richland County in 2025. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $3,162,540, which represents a 4.22% increase over the previous year. The County Board’s regular monthly meeting for December will be this Thursday, December 12th, at the County Jail Meeting Room, at which time the County Board will reorganize as well.
