Olney finished up its regular season schedule with a win at Salem, 13-3
Brody Redman was the winning pitcher
Nolen Seals led Olney at the plate with 3 hits, including a home run
Owen Cycholl also had a two-run home run
Olney ends the regular season at 14-13 and the LIC Conference Champs at 6-1
the Tigers now prepare for Class 2A Regional action next Wednesday evening
Olney will play the Flaming Hearts in Effingham with a 6:30 start time

Newton lost to a tough St. Joseph-Ogden squad, 8-1
the Eagles were outhit by the Spartans, 8 to 5
David Ferguson had Newton’s only RBI hit, plus a walk
Reed Tharp singled and scored the Eagle’s only run
other hits by Quincy Fulton, Maddox Horner, and Gavin Meinhart
the (24-7/5-2) Eagles are scheduled for their season finale today at Greenville
Newton is in Class 2A Regional action next Wednesday at 4:00 in Effingham
