(OLNEY/NEWTON) As the strong frontal system that dropped an average of nearly one inch of rain over the past 36 hours is now out of Illinois, a secondary low will move through the upstate area by tomorrow night, giving our downstate area a slight chance of light showers tomorrow through tomorrow night, although most of the rain will stay north. We’ll for sure dry out on Saturday and Sunday with sunshine and warmer air back in the forecast. Stay tuned for updates & always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
