(OLNEY/NEWTON) An approaching frontal system gave us some rain showers yesterday, averaging anywhere from a few tenths to over an inch of rain in some isolated areas. While today and tonight will be mostly dry, there is a slight chance of some spots getting wet, plus better chances of rain and thunderstorms, some possibly severe, moving thru tomorrow & tomorrow night. Then our downstate area will dry out and heat up with heat index values at or over 100 degrees expected this coming weekend. Stay tuned for weather updates.
