For the first time in 20 years, the USAC National Sprint Cars are making their return to Red Hill Raceway, just south of Sumner, this Friday night. Drivers will battle for a $10,000 grand prize in what promises to be a thrilling night of racing.
It’s also a special tribute night, the First Salute, honoring Hall of Fame racer Levi Jones. The Olney native began his racing journey at Red Hill Raceway back on June 10, 1982, launching a decorated 16-year career that includes becoming USAC’s only five-time Sprint Car champion.
