USAC NATIONAL SPRINT CARS RETURN TO RED HILL RACEWAY THIS WEEKEND HONORING LEVI JONES
For the first time in 20 years, the USAC National Sprint Cars are making their return to Red Hill Raceway, just south of Sumner, this Friday night. Drivers will battle for a $10,000 grand prize in what promises to be a thrilling night of racing.
It’s also a special tribute night, the First Salute, honoring Hall of Fame racer Levi Jones. The Olney native began his racing journey at Red Hill Raceway back on June 10, 1982, launching a decorated 16-year career that includes becoming USAC’s only five-time Sprint Car champion.
Friday’s Schedule:
- Pit Gates Open: 3:30 PM
- Grandstands Open: 5:30 PM
- Hotlaps Begin: 7:00 PM

Ticket Prices at the Gate:
- General Admission: $30
- Children (ages 6–12): $5
- Children 5 & Under: Free
- Pit Passes: $45 (Adults), $25 (Kids 10 & under)

(OLNEY) The Legacy of Levi Jones
A 1990 graduate of East Richland High School, Levi Jones is widely recognized as one of the most successful names in American sprint car history. After a 16-year racing career, Jones transitioned into motorsports leadership, having served as:
- USAC National Series Director
- USAC VP of Competition – Circle Track Division
- Director of Indy NXT, the official development series for IndyCar (through 2023)
Today, Levi Jones continues his impact on racing as the General Manager of Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio.
